I’m best suited for the families who want to share their stories — woman to woman, mother to child. I’m for those who want to see their own strength through a different set of eyes. I’m for the spouses who view pregnancy, birth, and their pregnant partners with the reverence they deserve. I’m for the body-positive, the advocates. I’m for future generations that deserve systems better than those we have now.
I partner with families who know that they have more options than most of us are often presented, that they have agency over their own bodies, and that their birth experiences can and should be guided by them.

Payment Plans
In an effort to make birth photography as attainable as possible, I offer extended payment arrangements. The standard payment plan requires a $500 non-refundable deposit at booking, with the remaining balance split into monthly payments up to 37 weeks gestation. The amount of your monthly payment will depend on the products & services chosen and how early you book them.

Fresh 24 or 48
With a Fresh 24 session, I will come to you within 24-48 hours after your baby is born. No matter what kind of birth you had, or wherever you had your baby, I will come to you to capture images from those very first moments of the first day of your baby's life. Everything during those first moments are so emotional and sometimes messy, but that's also what makes them the most beautiful. So many different images could be captured during this session. Siblings meeting for the first time, first moments of breastfeeding, packing up and getting ready to head home from the hospital, those fleeting images of bonding for the first time and everyone getting acquainted with each other. We will spend about 1 hour together and I will try to be as out of the way as possible. We'll talk about how the birth went, your emotions, and how you felt when you met your baby for the first time. This session is definitely a special one and I would love to be able to document this time for you and your new family. Please contact me during your pregnancy so we can discuss your hopes for this session.

What if you miss the birth?
Babies are unpredictable! Missed births happen, but they're rare. If I miss the birth because your labor was super fast, I still come to your place of birth to document as much of your story as I can. If there are too many missed moments to build a full gallery, I am happy to offer a Fresh 48 or Documentary Family session for a day soon after baby arrives.
Will you post photos?
I only share images with permission from my clients. I love birth stories, I never get tired of reading them, of seeing them unfold, through imagery or in real life. I think that something has been lost among women in modern culture, we don't talk about birth among our families and friends the way we once did. I love to show the beauty, power, and magic of my clients birth stories, in hope that it will empower other women. I want women to feel strong, confident, and capable when they're about to meet their babies, and this helps to encourage that mentality.
What if I have a cesarean?
Surgical births make beautiful birth stories too! Ideally, you should discuss this with your care provider during your pregnancy so you know what to expect. Even if your doctor has a policy against allowing photographers into the OR, I can come to the hospital with you at check-in, document your pre-op, give my camera to your support person to use during the birth, and photograph post-delivery moments as usual. The documentation of your story is just as, if not more, important as any mama delivering vaginally!
When will you arrive?
Ideally, I arrive sometime during your active labor. The most perfect timing is a few hours before your baby is born, for a total of 4-6 hours of coverage. Birth is FAR from ideal though, most of the time... so we do our best to gauge the right time for me to join you based on a variety of indicators. Usually it's best to go by how close together your contractions are, and how difficult they are for you to manage.
When should I book?
As early as possible! In order to give each of my clients the attention they deserve, I can only accept a limited number of births per year, so I encourage you to contact me as soon as you know you're expecting.

Are you LGBTQ friendly?
ABSOLUETLY! There is room for everyone at my table. You are safe here.
Do you require a fee to book?
All photoshoots require 50% of the session payment as the retainer to hold your date. This is non-refundable but is transferable (only once).
What is your typical turnaround time?
My turnaround time ranges from 1-7 weeks depending on the season.
Do you offer marketing rights?
Yes! Marketing rights are available for an additional cost. Marketing rights will ensure you are safe from infringement when you use the images from your session for advertising. I will give you a written and signed agreement as your proof of ownership. These rights are good for 10 years. (After 10 years you may need updated photos, etc.)
How do you deliver images?
I deliver images on an online gallery. You will receive a link that you can share with others, as well. This gallery includes all your images and gives you the ability to purchase more images than are included in your package! Why be limited?!
Do you work internationally?
I can travel anywhere! However, I do need adequate notice to travel internationally to ensure compliance with international laws. (Work visa, etc)
